Explore the bots and features that power your chats.


Using commands in EpikChat is simple and fun! Just type the command by itself directly into the chat. Make sure nothing is in front of the command for it to work correctly. Some commands may accept or require an input. For example, typing !weather New York will fetch the weather for New York.

!time Display the current local time for a given location.
!weather Get the current weather for any location. Simply provide a city name or region.
!quote Get a motivational or famous quote.
!yt Search for YouTube videos directly within the chat. For example, !yt dancing cats
!urb Look up definitions and meanings on Urban Dictionary. Perfect for finding the latest slang.
!shade A game of bold calls and brutal honesty. “Who’s most likely to ghost a DM?” “Start a pyramid scheme?” “Cry in the club?” You know exactly who it is.
!wyr Post a random “Would You Rather” question for you to debate.
!emoji Expressive emojis that match any word or phrase you provide. For example, !emoji party
!8ball Ask the Magic 8-Ball a yes-or-no question and receive an answer. Great for life's most important decisions! For example, !8ball will I be rich?
!choose Can't decide? Let the bot choose for you! Type two or more options (separated by a comma) and it’ll randomly pick one. For example, !choose pizza, sushi, tacos
!roll Roll the dice! To specify the number of sides add a number. For example, !roll 10
!joke Laugh at a random joke to lighten the mood.

Interactive Link Previews

YouTube and Spotify links shared in the chat will automatically display as interactive widgets, making your chat experience more engaging. These widgets provide quick access to video playback or song previews without leaving the conversation. If you prefer not to see these previews, you can disable them in the settings.

Examples:

  • YouTube: Sharing a link like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ4w9xiHkrY will display an embedded video widget with the title and thumbnail. Links to YouTube Shorts also work in the same way.
  • Spotify: Sharing a link like https://open.spotify.com/track/3n3Ppam7vgaVa1iaRUc9Lp will display a song widget with album art and track details.
