To let others know when you're available, you can change your EpikChat status.
| Status option | Status meaning | Automatic | Status changes between active and idle based on chat activity. Idle status will be displayed after 5 minutes of inactivity. |

| Do not disturb | Mutes all chat notifications, including view requests. |
| Away | Shows status as away. |
| Status icon | Status text | Status meaning |

| Active | You are actively using the chat. | |
| Idle | You've been inactive in the chat for at least 5 minutes. | |
| Away | You have set your status to "Away". | |
| Do Not Disturb | You have set your status to "Do Not Disturb". EpikChat notifications are muted. |
